The Rotary Club of Avondale extends an invitation to all interested parties throughout the Auckland region to join them for this luncheon meeting on FRIDAY 2lst MAY 1999.

Tom Schnackenburg's - or "SCHNACK" as he is known - America's Cup experiences date back to 1977 when he worked with Australia in their sail programme and he has been involved in every Cup since then. Tom sailed in every major yachting event around the world including Olympics - Americas Cup - Admirals Cup - Kenwood Cup and Southern Cross Cup. Tom is a kiwi, is married to Annette and has two boys. He is a key member of the design team of Team New Zealand and coordinates all activities: He is recognized as a world leader in yachting computer technology and is widely sought after for his hull and sail design and development ideas.
